Who We Are

ERI SalaryExpert was launched in 2000 by ERI Economic Research Institute to help organizations and individuals optimize salary planning. Our robust compensation management solution houses the global salary survey data and applications needed to design competitive and effective compensation structures. From benchmarking with reliable market data to analyzing geographic differentials and conducting pay equity analyses, our intelligent platform is an innovative way of merging integral salary survey data with efficient features, all in one system.
We compile the most robust salary, cost-of-living, and executive compensation survey data available. ERI collects data using three distinct methods: direct collection from organizations, digitization of publicly available tax documents (such as 10Ks and Forms 990), and purchases of salary surveys. These research efforts provide a robust database that allows ERI SalaryExpert to report on 35,500 jobs across over 1,100 industries based on data from over 2.7 million organizations and 11.1 million employees. Data are analyzed using AI and traditional statistics, depending on which approach is best for a particular application.

Our Salary Evaluation Process

We are constantly taking steps to improve our salary platform and provide the most in-depth salary survey and

Data Verification
After compiling our compensation data, we conduct QA to ensure our data is vetted, verified, and of the highest quality.
Analysis
ERI conducts advanced analytics using AI and traditional statistics, depending on which approach is best for a particular application to accurately capture the market value of each occupation in our salary survey database.

How Compensation Data Can Help Your Company

Provide Direction

As a CEO, it is important to provide direction on the role that compensation plays within your business. Compensation planning is an important part of an overall business strategy.

Define a Stragegy

Defining a business strategy can translate into short- and long-term operating plans. This allows decisions to be made on salary planning and other goals that assist in keeping employees motivated and engaged while working together.

Responsive Programs

A compensation plan should be responsive to your business needs, financial abilities, sound financial planning, top management expectations, the external labor market, and the workforce needs and values, all while ensuring legal compliance in a challenging labor market.

The Strategic Compensation Planning Process

A good compensation planning strategy begins at the top with the business strategy itself and compliments both short- and long-term business goals. HR professionals understand the importance of salary survey data when it comes to benchmarking total compensation and making the best business decisions for their company.
